This project will involve the development of a swarm intelligence design methodology for the generation of proto-architectural matter (organization, form, structure, articulation etc). This project will be undertaken in the same groups as the first project and will most likely build upon the swarm simulation project. The critical aspect of this project is a shift from simulation to architectural agency. This is intended to be a shift away from the mere mapping of existing swarm systems to conceptualizing agents as simple designers which collectively are capable of solving complex design problems and exhibiting emergent behavior in the process.
